Magdalena Jane is a contemporary artist based in Vancouver with a visual arts degree from UBC Okanagan. Her work is instinct-led that's quietly informed by the understanding of colour, experimentation, and composition — made by feeling, but never by accident.

This collection began as an exploration of a new medium at a smaller scale — a way to step back from expectations and focus on form alongside spontaneous palettes. Inspired by moments out of the studio, "stopping to smell the roses" as one would say. Oil pastels, intimate sizes, and a curiosity about colour did the rest.

When I'm not in the studio, I'm probably at a dog park.
